Accessing mysql remotely Print this Article
1) Access your cPanel(http://your_domain/cpanel).
2) Click in icon of Remote MySQL.
3) Inside, place the symbol %,to give access to any ip or put your IP in specific field Host, and then, click in button Add Host:
Once you have done this you will have activated the access remote to MySQL of your account and the cPanel show message Host Added - Added Host % to the access list. Then, click the linkGo Backto return and check if remote access was successfully added, verifying the existence of the symbol % in section Access Hosts(just above localhost):
If everything is right, you can now now access your MySQL remotely.
The host address to use remote, will be your main domain from your account without http:// and without www (example: yourdomain.com).
